This week’s She Said What features a guest preacher, Mariah Himes. Mariah has been an active member and leader in our Downtown Disciple Progressive Faith community for three years and is a graduate of One Iowa’s Inaugural Leadership Institute. Mariah studied political science and global studies at UNC Chapel Hill and was part of Americorp Vista for two years and is the statewide volunteer coordinator for Lutheran Services of Iowa. Downtown Disciples are pleased and proud to share Mariah’s engaging and compelling sermon on Jeremiah 2:4-13.
